highly recommend - inexpensive 'date' for you and FH

FH planned a 'date day' for us since he hasn't been off on weekends in awhile (he's a cop). And well, FH being FH, part of our day was visiting the cold spring harbor Fish Hatchery. Let me tell you, we had such a great time!! Admission is only six bucks each. It was really neat and they had tanks with baby turtles in them, literally smaller than my palm, and now I am in love and I want a tank of baby turtles!!!!

Anyway, I know we're all saving money and looking for things to do from time to time, so I just thought I'd share!!

Aw that sounds like fun! I have a pet turtle actually. Posted her picture in the BHB pet thread! She use to fit in the palm of my hand, but 16 years later she's huge!

We'll have to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!

yeah i was very impressed with his creativity! we were also scoping out the area as a potential place to live. I tried to take pics but they didn't come out so great lol (of fish and turtles, not houses)
