Say yes to the dress

I'm sure you've all seen the show 'say yes to the dress,' has anyone been on the show? Do the brides who go on the show get anything out of it besides being on TV? I know there is no monetary compensation, but do they give you a great deal on the dress then??

Someone must know!!

My cousin works on the show.

Brides DO NOT get anything out of it at all. No discounts, freebies, etc.

Yea ...I applied to be on the show and was told in big bold letters that you will get nothing out of the show...lol

One of our good friends was on the show (FH was actually shown in the last scene at the actual wedding since he was a groomsmen!) and she got nothing!

She doesn't regret going on the show but wishes they gave her something for it.

i bet sooo many girls just want to BE on the show that the show doesnt NEED to give anything to the brides! but they should do a lil somtinng for the girls!

My co-worker was on that show..I think it aired this past weekend or the weekend before this one. She was one of the bridesmaids. They don't get squat for being on it.

Wow absolutely ridiculous. I'm shocked!! They should get something, even a lunch for free with whoever you bring. SOMETHING!

That's pretty ridiculous when people are making a huge profit from the show and the BRIDES who make it possible get nada! I guess a lot of people just want their face on TV. My friend went dress shopping there and they asked if she wanted to be on the show but she wasn't interested.
