Bridal Store RANT!! Long Sorry!!

So I went into a bridal suite in Sayville and am completely disgusted with the staff's attitude. I recently won PartyFM's Get Hitched On The House, which gave away a free wedding. When I walked into the suite I ran into someone I knew. She said 'this is the girl I was telling you about, the one who won the free wedding' One of the staff members replies with 'So... what you won a wedding and just decided to get married for the hell of it' UMM no b*tch I have been with my fiance for 8 years and got engaged before the contest!!!!! I was so insulted I just walked away from her.

Then later while looking at hair accessories another woman came over and was asking me how I was wearing my hair. I told her I was wearing it down and curly but wasn't sure if I wanted a poof or not. She starts telling me how I shouldn't be looking at hair accessories yet since 'You don't even know what your doing with my hair' (with an attitude!!) and how 'You really need to figure that out before you can try out hair accessories', like I was wasting her time.

I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but the women has such attitudes !! They were talking to me like a child and then had to nerve to tell me to come back and purchase about $500 worth of accessories and to make sure I had an appointment next time.
How about I don't come back at all, I wanted to say.

people s**k..... do u have to order your dress there or can u go anywhere? if u can try Helen's Bridal in Commack. I worked with Liz and she is the nicest person ever. U will not feel rushed at all. She even picked out my dress.... Good Luck!

Thank you! No I don't have to get my dress there. I just went there to look at veils and hair accessories. It was by my house so I figured I'd try it. I will def. try your recommendation!

They are horrible!! Im starting to live by the idea that the moment vendors give attitude, etc..Im NOT going to waste my time or money on them. Move on and give your business to a vendor who deserves it...

Get on the phone...ask to speak to the manager...and let him/her know that you were about to blow a boat load of money in there store until these woman started talking down to you. Maybe they'll think twice next time before they start treating there customers like crap.

I am sorry that happened to you! It makes such a difference when the store is nice and helpful! I would pay a bit more money at a kinder store than get something cheaper at a store where people are rude!

Hopefully you can find a more helpful store next time :)

Congratulations is right that is so awesome that you won!! ...& ignore nasty jealous people like that..they obviously can't deal with something good happening to someone because they are miserable people..& I agree to call & complain!

Yeah that's not fun. You should go to village bridal (babylon) or lillettes (baldwin). I had great experiences at both places. If you are in suffolk i loved fantasia in rocky point but I felt like their selection was smaller. They really let me look at everything.

thats so rude of them... I hate ppl like that who make u feel like a child this is your special day and everything about it should be wonderful and make you feel important. If you dont have to go there then I wouldnt even go back. Good luck!! we should get together one day I havent seen you in forever!

That's so not there are so many bridal shops out there you don't need to go some where that they are not going to be nice. Some people are just rude
