Alterations

How much are you paying for alterations? Pronovias charges a flat $500 fee. I was wondering if that is average..

I honestly don't remember but I know it was not a flat rate. I believe my mom and i figured it out to be around 750

Alterations for me are capped at a max amount of $295.
I am getting my dress at Lillette's.

My MOH paid $650 to get alterations at a seamstress in the city. So I would say $500 isn't bad.

i wanna say that bridal reflections was capped at 350 or 400. but i bought my dress at pronovias and will either get it done there or with a family friend.

I was quoted a cap of 275 without the bustle. That is 150 or 250 depending on the type. As long as your bustle is included I think that's about right.

Mines included in the price of the dress and BM's are 40 dollars. I wouldn't pay over a 200 cap.

i obviously need to find a good seamstress or something because some of these prices i am seeing are more than my dress even cost. i totally did not even factor this in

RK Bridal 'caps' them at 350 but I think they just charge everyone that much regardless of what they are getting done.

$500 sounds a little high but I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's a once in a lifetime expense.
