Just bought 3 new nail polishes...

And will be returning all three of them! lol They looked so perfect in the bottles and I came home and put them on (one on each finger lol) and they look awful! I am looking for a dark maroon/brown perhaps with some sort of shimmer...any thoughts?

they always have good ones in the nail salon and usually carry stock of the ones they use on customers. I have gotten a few good shades that way.

Thanks! I went with 'wrapped in rubies' and i like it! lol

I tried on the new mint candy apple color and it looked disgusting on me...i know its the new thing but wow it looked awful! lol

I go back and forth with this arguement with my friend all the time. She hates OPI and thinks it chips way more than Essie. I think Essie chips way more and thats why every nail place uses it! To keep you coming back!

I've started doing this manicure called Mani Q and now i only have to go once every two weeks. Its my FAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Its basically a special gel manicure. They use the UV to harden it and my polish never chips!!!!!! I can honestly make almoooooooost 3 weeks but I'm usually sick of a color by then, haha.

I am not sure how its different than a gel manicure but literally EVERY single person in my nail place does mani-q instead of regular manis. They're a little more expensive (25) but my time is worth it!!!!!!!!!!
