kindle/e-reader
for those of you with a kindle or any type of e-book reader:what do you have? how do you like it (pros and cons)? i am not sure if i should get this. i mean i am a big book reader ( like i have read over 100 books in the past 5 months). part of me thinks it would be more cost effective to buy a kindle or something but then another part of me likes the whole 'having a book in my hands and literally turning the pages' experience.

Re: kindle/e-reader
I am an avid reader....if I had my choice I'd be plowing through books on the regular (school kind of ends that ability for me
)I have the Kindle and I absolutely LOVE it...I get what you are saying about holding a book in your hand and turning the pages...I like that too. But it has the same weight as a book would and the pages look like actual pages (there's no backlighting so you don't strain your eyes)
I recommend it 20x over!!!!

Re: kindle/e-reader
I love love love my Sony E-reader. Its the best thing that FH has ever got me.ITA about holding a book in your hand and turning the pages but I couldn't imagine not having my e-book.
I have about 8 books in it right now and I read like 2 at a time. When I get bored with a chapter I just go to another book. And I'm never left without something to read. I used to hate finishing a book on the train and still had another half hour of my commute left and having nothing to read.

My dad got the Kindle and loves it. He says it is easier to read (on his eyes) than books.

Re: kindle/e-reader
FH wants to buy me one... (that's the thing that you upload your books to right?).. I don't want one. I like completing a series then displaying it on my bookshelf.Granted my bookshelf mostly consists of teen and tween titles, I still like looking at it and feeling accomplished that I read a whole series.

They mostly range between $4-$12.
New York Times bestsellers are $9.99
