bad enough no irons... now i read cars get dammaged at the terminal when u leave them... they paintt and the paint sprays on ppls cars n they get damaged....AND NO1 PAYS FOR IT LOLso now i have to go buy a car cover and hide it from fh until we get to the pier n lie to him n say the sea salt will mess the car up.. cuz if he finds out ahead of time, then hes going to ask ffil to drive us. and quite honestky.. id rather pay $200+ for parking instead

Ive always brought an iron-I just got a cheap small one-just in case they took it...but they never did.Could you get a car service there so you dont have to worry about the damage of the car? Ive left out of nj 4 times but got car service so idk what happens in lot.

do u know how much car service is??im bringing one, but i heard they take it form ur luggage like they do with alcohol... and even wine ive snuck in without a problem. its just that, i cant find socks big enough to put an iron in, like i did with wine. lol

I wish I knew-but we went like 2 years ago I don't really remember. It doesn't hurt to call a few diff places. It would be a town car and its not for a wedding so I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad. If not Im sure your car would be fine-your on vacation you shouldn't have to worry about your car.

Are you going on Explorer of the Seas out of Bayonne?? If so, I didn't have any problem at all with parking there. You park your own car and it is in a big open parking lot. Before I went on my cruise I heard the same things about paint and whatnot on cruisecritic.com, but others were saying that it's not true. I ended up being fine. If you are going on Explorer have a great time!!!!!!! FH and I loved that cruise and it will always hold a special place in our hearts because we got engaged on the ship this past June!

When we went on our cruise, we bought a little iron and were able to board with it (guess they didnt find it). Nothing too expensive cause if they find it, they will take it away from you.

THANKS GUYS! we are SOOOO nervous about this trip. Ive cruised about 6 times with NCL in 2 and a half yrs..so switching it up is a big deal loll. its like im cheating hahawe would do car service, but on the way back we ( I ) want to go shopping..so we'll hit up the outlets n stuff.
