late RSVP'ers...when to contact
My RSVP date is 11/25 - exactly one week from today. We still have a TON of people who didn't RSVP. My Mom (being the eager woman that she is) wants to start calling our side of the list. I asked her to wait until at least the 25th, but she wants to get on it this weekend.Should she wait until after the date or should she be proactive and follow up now? I'd LOVE to have a final count already, but I don't want to come across as annoying anyone....

I would do it right after Thanksgiving... like the day after.

I would do this too, ONLY because of the holiday. Otherwise I'd probably be on the same page as your mom.
But don't take my advice, my RSVP date was 11/1 and I still have 3 missing RSVPs

Our RSVP date was Thursday 11/12. We started calling people the next day and over the weekend. It is a pain. Start early.

Re: late RSVP'ers...when to contact
I would start now so that they can sent it by the RSVP date, maybe they forgot that they didnt send them in alreday so a little reminder would be great.

Thankfully we're super close to our minimum so I don't have that to be worried about anymore!! phew

Re: late RSVP'ers...when to contact
Calling people before the RSVP date is rude IMO. If you wanted to know today, you shoud have put the RSVP date as today!!I agree with above--give people until after Thanksgiving.

Re: late RSVP'ers...when to contact
We started the week before and by our RSVP date only had single digits outstanding ... and we originally had somewhere around 70-80 outstanding.Food for thought

Re: late RSVP'ers...when to contact
Honestly, I would not call them the day after esp since its close to Thanksgiving.Glen Island doesnt want a final headcount (at least when I had to give them the final headcount) until 3 days before the wedding. They are VERY accomodating, they give you up until the very last minute, now I get it that u want to do ur tables and place cards but I would hold off at least a week until after the RSVP date. Don't drive yourself crazy hun
