Xpost Bridal Shower Guestlist

Initially, I was going to give a list to my mom and a list to FH's mom and ask them to star must invites, circle maybes, and cross out no invites. However, now I'm thinking that I would really like to choose the list and invite those that I have a personal relationship with.

I'm thinking that I will develop the master list, and then just show it to them and ask if there's anyone significant that I forgot.

What did you ladies do?

i had made a master list for our wedding, then i just highlighted those that were females, and handed it off.

i gave my moh a list of all my female family members and girlfriends and female work friends i wanted at my shower. shower was in oct.
it worked out great!!!!

then f-monster-in-law and fsil's got ahold of guest list and is throwing seperate shower up in ct (without telling me date until after invites went out) and invited entire female guests. including tons of people ive never met before.
i cant wait...

I had the master list of A-list invites, and we picked on our side who we would invite, and then had FMIL pick those she wanted to invite, and we went from there.

Me too. Although I left one person off the list that probably should have been added.

I just gave my mom a list of my friends that I wanted to invite and she took care of the rest (family and family friends)

Don't forget to talk to his mom about the women she'd like to invite.
