hair/make up

I was just wondering if any girls had issues with their FMIL getting hair and make up done on the day of the wedding. my FMIL refuses to get her hair and makeup done - she says she doesn't need any help - i think she should do it because people will be looking at her and not to mention the photos. I asked FSIL to convince her and she said she won't get involved. any ideas/advice to help?

Im not in that stage were im looking into hair and makeup but I KNOW im going to have issues with my FMIL getting her hair and makeup done. Shes really NOT into makeup or hair.She recently just cut her hair like fade short so she would not have to take care of it. I figure thought if she wants to look like the outsider thats fine with me. All I know is my mother is going to look nice and really that's all I care about...

HAHAHAHA I totally agree. She can do whatever she wants, but I know my mom is going to have everything done and look amazing.

My FMIL can do whatever she wants, it's up to her. I know that my mom will look great though!!

I say let FMIL do whatever makes her comfortable. What if she gets everything done and hates it (no matter how nice it may be)? That would really be bad. Let her be comfortable and happy, rather than angry and feeling 'pushed' into doing something she didn't want to do.
