I can't believe it......

So i went with my friend dress shopping for her wedding. She is doing JOP since her and her FH have both been married and wanted to find a simple short dress. We pull up to Estelle's in farmingdale and I was like 'wow thats the wedding gown that I love' (still torn between 2 dresses) in the window! its turns out that it was (demetrios 926) So i walk over to see the price tag and it was $999.00!!!!!! meanwhile macy's has it for $1550 and angel bridal will give it to me for $1350.00 Just thought I'd vent!!!!!!! I wanted to vomit.....ugh...its amazing how certain places can mark up prices.....

That is a crazy difference in price...i would go with Estelles and forget about Macy's. Put that money into somewhere else...

WOW that's crazy!!! I would go to Macy's and tell them you can get it for cheaper and see what they say, can't hurt.

well the bad thing about Estelle's is that they don't cap alterations and they can't store it until 2011. LOL....I will be mentioning it to whoever i go with and if if choose that gown the price!!!! maybe I can work a lil magic lol I found it as a 'sign' too that the gown was in the window since I'm torn between these 2 dresses lol

I do not think they even do alterations there..I tried on a dress in the window..a Mori Lee..and was told that they do not do alterations

Plus she told me the dress would be in around 3 months..how the heck do I store that thing for 15+ months
