yes- we are entering into that territory! It's completely frightening because I've never had that feeling before.

Re: were you totally broke right before your wedding?
Not to sound bratty, but no, we're not broke. Well, I'M broke, but that's just because my boss doesn't like to pay me a livable salary lol. But as a whole, we're pretty good. I'm comfortable with where we are. Yeah, we got nauseous when we dropped like 400 at BBB last weekend and barely even scratched the surface of things we still need, but it was more sticker shock than anything.Ask me this in 3 weeks though, and I might have a different answer.

Re: were you totally broke right before your wedding?
You just have to keep telling yourself it will all be ok. Between the house and the wedding, I feel like we're hemoragghing money right now. I'm so used to just spending whatever I wanted to spend, but this month is a little more expensive than others - especially because we're paying our mortgage AND I have to pay my rent for November and December since the house isn't ready yet.

We were financially okay but still didn't feel comfortable spending the amounts that we did.

Ali I meant to tell you, we have a dish rack if you want one. I remember it was on your list of stuff you still need to buy! We bought it, never used it & don't need it. It's yours if you want to scratch one more thing off that list.

Thank you for the offer Chrissi, but it was actually one of the first things we bought this weekend, so we have that covered now. I appreciate it though!

Yup! Thankfully the morning of the rehearsal dinner my best friend and MOH came over to give card from her and her BF because she wanted to see us read the note she had written and see our reaction. There was $1000 in cash in the card, best MOH ever!

Just try not to get caught up in the last minute, 'oh we need to buy everythinggggg' phase! How exciting to have a new apartment. Did you have your shower yet? Did you get a lot of good stuff for your place from that?
