IN MAJOR NEED OF HELP!!!

IN MAJOR NEED OF HELP!!!
My invites came... and they are terrible!!!!!FH is the III so when typing, as i just did <----- i entered capital 'i' which looks like 'I'
Well *** the invites come and i love everything else about them but the I is just a larger version of a lowercase i..... With the bubble and all!!!
That does not work!!!
What can I do?!?!!?
Do you know a real caligrapher? I may see if I can have them reprinted without the III and have a caligrapher add it, although that will look tacky.... im so upset

No they sent a print out of what i requested, and the wording is correct, its just the stupid type style they used. Why on earth would I know, assume, that a capital i has a bubble over it.
If my name was Isabella it would look terrible

aww, that stinks! I am ordering my invites from Costco. Just do a google search for Costco Invitations. It's actually a company called einvite.com or something and costco members get a discount. You can probably get your invitations in a week from them.

I don't understand.. If you entered capital 'i' why would they print it in lowercase? It's not like the invitation style calls for all lowercase letters. I would contact the company and tell them. Otherwise like I said before, just order from somewhere else and worry about getting reimbursed for this later.ETA... I just re-read one of your posts and realized that it is a capital i. That's crazy that they do that.. Your FH is probably not the only II or III.

that's the font? I have NEVER EVER seen anything like that before - I would call and complain - see if they can reprint and before you okay it find out the font name and I will show you what it looks like!!
I wish I could fix that

I would call them ASAP and tell them exactly that. You cannot possibly have been the ONLY bride with this complaint! Time to get bridezilla on them. Are you willing to use a different font? Does this invite come with different fonts as an option?

thats my problem... this was the only font available. I did call and the girl was going to have her supervisor call me tomorrow. I just cant think of what they can tell me or do for me. Sure i can make them give me a refund, but my wedding is in 2 months. Now i have to pick new invites and have a rush order?not cool at all!

they better give you a refund - that is crap! I have been a designer for over 10 years - you should have been told that the font looked like that - I will talk to the supervisor for you! I'm heated!!!!

Can't you just explain that to whomever did the invitations?How would they make that mistake, that's so stupid! You're obviously not the first person every to have a II or III roman numeral on their invites!
LOL, I know you're not the call them up and ***** type, but I think in this case you need to. And you don't need to be mean, but you need to talk to someone, you shouldn't have to spend more money to have them redone or supplemented, especially if you like everything else about them.

Oh no Ali! I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I am no help, but I'd certainly raise H E L L until they fix it, refund you, AND overnight the new ones!
