Bridesmaid dress for Summer ...need help!

Having a summer evening wedding in aug. I like tea lenght dress but am unsure if its good for an evening wedding so am leaning towards a longer lenght. For those that were in a wedding or had one durring the summer, what type of bridesmaid desses did you wear/get?

My BM wore gowns for my August wedding. I did not feel tea length was formal enough for an evening wedding.

I had these by Bari Jay -- my wedding was in September and my girls loved these! They were so pretty, not heavy and one of the BMs took the bottom part off during the reception... It's also very reasonably priced!

I am having long dresses in a watermelon color. They are chiffon with an empire waist. The material makes it look more light and airy for the summertime.

my bm's are wearing long chiffon dresses for our July wedding. They could be cut down to tea length if you want. The girls all said they are very comfortable and light for the summer. I have pics in my album. They are from David's Bridal and are very reasonable.

My BM's will probably wear cocktail or tea length dresses since my wedding is in July. I am probably going to use Alfred Angelo because my BMs are spread out everywhere and this designer is a little more accessible for them. I some ideas in my photo album if you want to see.

how much were these dresses???

I got the dresses from RK bridal for about $130... they match the price you find online and beat it by 10% I think (maybe 5%)!

I struggled with this, too. I didn't want short, and I didn't want satin. A lot of what didn't fall into those categories didn't have color options I liked for a summer day. We ended up with this one, from David's Bridal. It's very flattering on my girls, and it came in a ton of colors. Best part, they had all sizes to try on. The girls all have seamstresses they're comfortable with, so we won't be getting alterations there.

Love this dress, I even went to the store and tried it on but my FH isnt a big fan of the bow/the length.
