ok im corny....did this happen to anyone else

dh was on the phone and he ws talking and goes 'oh im with my wife'....i start crying,he looks at me like im nuts and goes whats wrong...i go....u just called me your wife

im so strange

Yes! I dont cry but there is a certain sound I make when I'm happy LOL and I always make that sound after he says 'wife'

it took me a year to get used to fiance, I can not get use to wife and husband. When I am at my mom's and DH calls she is always like, its your husband... my what?

It throws me for a loop at first, but i def dont cry or make any sounds LOL You girls crack me up!

I started to cry the first time i called dh my husband, but when he calls me his wife i get a big goofy smile on my face.

I never used the word finace because to me it is just a ridiculous word but the very first time I said 'husband' I laughed...the person that was helping me at the store thought I was the strangest person.

When DH said 'my wife' for the first time...I have to admit that it melted my heart a little. But what really got me was for DH's birthday my dad got him a card that said 'son in law'.

lol! all the time!!

just when i finally got use to calling him my fiance!! switching to husband sounds weird saying it! even weirder when he calls me his wife!!

I didn't cry but it was strange. Then after the wedding I was talking with someone and said 'my fiance' and she said 'didn't you just have a wedding how many guys are you marrying?'


And for my birthday last week DH's parents got me a daughter in law card...it was w e i r d lol

Deff feel weird Saying it or hearing it. Funny we are talking about this bc me and dad went the bank last week to find out info on cds and I kept saying my husband my husband and it felt sooo weird. I could imagine how my father was feeling when I kept saying it bc I'm his only daughter and now grown and married. When we were dating he use to call me his wifey and it was funny now it is soo real.

it feels weird to me. almost like I am 'playing' or something when I say husband. DH LOVES saying wife. . and smiles all the time. . he likes to meet people I don't know just so he can say it .. but one funny thing DH got a new phone number and I entered it into my phone and didnt want to put it under his name bc then it would be a duplicate and I thought I would get confused and erase the wrong one so I put it under 'My Husband' and then I just left it on bc it was funny so now whenever he calls it says 'My husband'

I get choked up every time DH says it & I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE saying 'MY HUSBAND'...it still doesnt feel real & like I'll wake up from a dream or something...but I know what you mean - to be honest - I will never get tired of hearing him say 'my wife'

I think I finally JUST got used to saying 'my husband' and we're almost 10 months out.
