hair/make up ?? please advise...

ok so is anyone just going to a salon to get hair and make up done? i was looking on the LIWvendors and it looks like its gonna be like 300$ plus trials and tips for hair and make-up? how are you guys finding the salons prices to compare? TIA

I paid $ 100 for a trial with the person I booked who is travelling to my home on wedding day.. I think she is great -she did my eyes precisely how I asked and used individual eyelashes which took at least 2 hours to put in properly. See my profile for add'l info or FM me. She isnt a LIW vendor.

I think salon prices may be a little less - because there are no travel fees involved, but then you risk having them take too long or you feeling rushed to get back home and get prepped for the ceremony..

I will be going to a salon for my hair
and I have someone who workers at M A C who will be coming to my house day of wedding for $150, I have my trial with her next week at the store!

I'm not sure if you live close to the Miller Place Inn but I'm going to my regular hair person in Shoreham and then probably going to Tranquility Spa in Mount Sinai for my make up. Already had a trial with them and I liked it.

I'm getting my hair done by my regular hair lady. It'll be cheaper for me, plus I know her and she knows my hair.
