some activity! Did you get drunk at your wedding?

Obviously not sloppy falling down, but did you get drunk at your wedding? I'm curious, I hear things all over the map on this. I plan on eating a lot to offset the drinks! :)

Believe it or not, not hardly any at all

The most I got to drink was in the limo from after the ceremony to our beach pics then over to our boat ride on the venue, then maybe 1 or 2 glasses of Asti Spumante during the whole reception...I was so busy either dancing or fixing my dress...lol

In hindsight, Im kinda glad - b/c I only had to go to the bathroom once the entire day ...lol...it's so embarrasing to go to the bathroom w/3 other ppl in the stall holding your dress up 4 u!

I didn't really drink much, all i wanted was water!

I had a few drinks but they were spread out over 7 hours, so I didn't even feel the effects of them.

Nope.... Im lucky if i finished 1 whole drink... I was on such a high that i didnt even think about drinking really nor did i even have much time to!

i barely drank at all! few mimosas in the morning, couple glasses of champagne thru out the night, few drinks here and there, a couple of shots, sounds like a lot, but everything was spread out and literally i would have a full drink im my hand, take a sip, put it down to to take a picture and i would forget about it, someone would put another drink in my hand and the same thing would happen...lol
as for DH well...he was good up until the end! his family has this weird tradition of taking shots of blackberry brandy! so he really couldnt help it, the shots were flowing...

same there here with the putting down fo drinks... at one point, i had 3 drinks at my table each with just a couple of sips taken... lol DH on the other hand got a buzz and actualy i had to tell him to stop being obnoxious towards the end... lol

nope i had one drink the whole entire day and i got 1/2 way thru before some spilled it.

I definitly wanted too...haha. I thought after all the dances and cake cutting was done id be able to let loose and drink...but honestly i had 2..maybe?

People are pulling you here and there...pictures everywhere...saying goodbye...giving good wishes...and before I knew it, the night was over. Dont get me wrong, I had a blast...but without alot of alcohol in my system

I didn't drink that much but I hardly ate so what I did drink went straight to my head and I felt like garbage the next day!

i hardly drank at all I had to drive to the hotel (in my dress btw idk how i did that but i did)

a little sip here and there but DH drank like a fish and passed out as soon as we got to the hotel so much for our after party

I had maybe 3 glasses of champagne and 1 glass of wine the whole time and my DOC made sure I had lots of cranberry juice (my favorite drink) during the day so I wouldn't get dehydrated. She also kept telling me to eat salty things because I kept getting nervous and saying I had to use the bathroom lol.

Definitely did not get drunk or buzzed or anything, but we're not huge drinkers. Plus I ate tons because the food was so dang good!!!

A lot of our guests boozed it up quite a bit, and they were doing shots towards the end -- I'm just happy everyone had so much fun!

I didn't even get to finish one drink. After I tipped the bridal attendant she made some comment and I said the bar is closed and she went back there and made me a hypno and sprite after the reception

My DH kept getting drinks for us, so I felt as if I always had a drink in my hand. But I didnt get drunk or buzzed or anything.
However, I was on a completely different high that night, no drinks needed!

I drank ALOT and I was def drunk at the end of the night but not sloppy! I think the adrenaline kept me level but once it was over I was like wheew i'm drunk! lol

I was getting a little tispy so I had to slow down

I drank water the rest of the reception.

I had a good steady buzz on most of the night. But I am not sure if that was booze related or just high on life.

The most I had to drink was a glass of champagne in the limo on our way to the hall. I could barely eat let alone drink between my nerves and the adrenaline! I was so dissapointed, more about not eating, because everyone raved about the food!

I drank SO much wine and honestly, no- did not get drunk. Someone told me that no matter how much you drink, you do not get drunk. You just get very giddy. That's what happened to me!

Nope! I was not feeling well so I didn't even have one whole drink! Only sips at toast time and stuff. I didn't eat either So I can't wait til Friday!! Kerri's Royalton wedding that I am lucky to be a part of!!! 5 months almost to the day after my wedding! Woohoo!! Plenty of drinking will go on then!!
