My DJ called to ditch me! 3 weeks before my wedding!

Can you believe this? I knew I didn't trust him. Don't worry, he is not a vendor on this board. Hopefully he will return my deposit. Now, my wedding is less than 3 weeks away and no DJ. Suggestions?

That's messed up - I would go down there right away and demand my deposit right away - don't leave until you get it, after all they want the deposit right away when you book them!!

My DJ is Albert Lee Music, he is super nice and he came highly recommeneded to me by another bride on this board and another vendor on thsi board. Fm Mail me if u want the number etc. Also, who was the DJ that scum bagged u?

I checked your profile Pschica, its not your DJ. I don't want to post who he is becuase I want to get my deposit back. I may need to use that as 'ammunition'.

I'm really sorry to hear that. He should've had a check in hand when he came to tell you he wouldn't be able to do your wedding. I hope you get it back asap - just let him know you need that $ to book antoher DJ since he reniged!

My D.J. is Expressway Music in the city, and we love him (so far). His number is 212-953-9367, he'd never do that.

OMG!!!!! i can't believe that.

maybe try Dancejock? we're using them and 3 of my GF's used them before us. they have multiple DJ's so maybe someone is free. their number is 631-242-0042.

I am shocked! I can't believe they would do such a thing. I am using Get In Tune. They have multiple DJ's and MC's so maybe they will have your date available.

That's horrible - they better give you your deposit back! That's the least they can do for screwing you like this.

I doubt my DJ is still available but we used Spin Around Sound - my friend used Tommy's Tunes and was very happy with them too.

Tara, that is so bad, what was his reasoning, not that any would make you feel better. Here is the one I used and Lizlen is using him too

His name is Ernest and his company is Entertainment Integrators 1-888-EI-HAS-IT A couple of older LIW used them and loved them, that is how I found out about him. He is excellent.
