Final Wedding Videos

I was just curious on how long it took for everyone's final wedding dvd's to be ready???

This weekend is going to be our one year anniversary and we have still NOT received our finished product. Has anyone else experienced something like this???

Not long! As soon as we were able to get everything together ( Pictures, Invitation,..etc) it was only a month and half later after that appointment. You always get the video first before the pictures! I got mine 4-5 months after the wedding..pending how quick you can get the details together and meet with yuor photographer/videographer it shouldn't be that long..we probably could have had it back in December..Only 3 months after the wedding!

Hi I am actually experiencing the same thing right now.My husband and i are having a problem with the company who did ours,long story but most brides got there video back in about 4-6 months.You should call them.Good luck!!!

That is definitely not the problem. We have called them SOOOO many times. They keep saying, oh try us in a month, try us here, try us then. Then my husband called and said, hello our 1 year anniversary is coming up really soon, we would like to have our dvd by then. They're like ok, we'll have it by then. Well our anniversary is in 2 days and STILL no dvd!

Did you ask them why it is taking so long? Look at your contract in the fine print. I would demand money off since it's been practically a year and no video! What about your wedding album? Did you get that back yet?

we got our video in june..i was livid that it took so long but was sooo happy with the results

We got our pictures from a different vendor and got those in December!

When we ask them they say they are still working on editing other people's weddings from 07, who handed in stuff late, etc....however we had all our stuff handed in by the end of October, so thats a bit unfair that we should have to wait if we gave everything in on time!
