*** Thought I would add that most of these will prob be very basic, minimum or no lighting, giveaways etc. You can try to work out something with them. I also heard of someone buying the giveaways on her own. if you really want to have them and the dj is charging too much you may want to look into that. ****

Another bride mentioned Colorblind has an iPod Package for under $500. You supply the music in your iPod, they have the equipment and DJ to make minimal announcements (first dance, etc).

I recommend FM Entertainment!!

had them at my wedding and they were EXCELLENT .........days after the wedding everyone was asking me where did I hire them from because they loved Frank, and that he was awesome!
My DJ was I believe his name is Mikey, awesome as well

euphoria-djs.com quoted me $500 for 4 hours bare minimum (no lights, my own playlist, very little speaking).

But then I wondered if there was any point really in having a DJ that I was paying to do virtually nothing.. so I contacted an equipment rental company and they quoted me $395 for a 24 hour rental for an ipod setup. Price includes speakers, mics, 2 ipod docks and is inclusive of all taxes, fees and setup. It also allows for a much nicer set-up rather than that ugly black sound system arrangement Djs bring along with them. And announcements can be made my people in the bridal party.

Only problem is.. if something goes wrong you may not have any idea what to do... so it may be worth it then to do a DJ ipod package like someone else mentioned.

Personally, I am not sure yet what I am going to do...
