***Support me run the NYC Marathon & support Team for Kids!***

Hi!
As some of you know, I have been training for the NYC Marathon (26.2
miles) being held on November 1, 2009. My spot in the marathon is
guaranteed as long as I raise at least $2500.00 for charity. The
charity I chose is Team for Kids. (www.teamforkids.org)

Team for Kids is the official charity of the New York Road Runner's
Foundation and is dedicated to fighting childhood obesity among
children living in underserved communities across the country and
around the world. They serve more than 100,000 kids per week who
would otherwise have little or no opportunity for regular physical
activity, at almost 500 schools and community centers, locally,
nationally and internationally. Your support will help Team for Kids
serve these children who desperately need regular access to physical
activity in order to lead healthy and productive lives, both now and
in the future. Donations go towards:

- Training for teachers, coaches, field managers, and coordinators,
most of whom are volunteers.
- Incentives for children to encourage them to maintain attendance,
demonstrate sportsmanship, and strive for and achieve fitness and
personal achievement milestones.
- Entry fees and transportation costs so participants in the programs
can compete in races and attend running related sporting events.
- Resources to establish programs in areas of greatest need.
