help! atlantica westhampton vendor info!

NEW atlantica westhampton vendors

hi - i'm the mob - my daughter lives out of state so i'm helping her out.
i haven't read anything about atlantica westhampton that's been written lately - all posts are about 5 years old!
we're debating between verdi and creative compositions photography (oyster bay).
i really like verdi but he's more expensive.
also, he does atlantica a lot and i'm wondering how important that is.
has anyone used either of these photographers?
has anyone been married in atlantica in the last year or so?? what vendors did you use??
we're on a budget - so we're thinking of a dj rather than a band - but my daughter is very low key and we don't want the 'hooplah' that usually accompianies a dj -
any suggestions?
i appreciate any information or advice anyone can give me - this is all new for me!

My son and DIL used Verdi as their photographer and he did a wonderful job. You can check out www.liweddings.com/chat/topic-442036-1.html titled I am in Love!!!!! Come see my amazing proofs from the Spectacular Verdis posted around September 5th or so 2007 (posted by Nina). They were there from beginning to end.

As for DJ's both my sons used Classie Sounds Entertainment who is the house dj for both Russo's on the Bay and the Riviera in Brooklyn. they were fabulous and had everyone on the dance floor all night long.

Don't know much about Atlantica except that it is a beautiful venue. Nina was thinking of having the wedding there but it too far out and inconvenient for us. She made the right choice for us because Russo's was to die for and so is the Riviera in Brooklyn.

I was married at Atlantica in June 2007. Verdi does a LOT of weddings there and they do a nice job. We used Blue Daisy Weddings as our photographer. her style was more my taste. I highly recommend.

Not sure about DJs, as we had a band.

if you have a choice, ask for Lisa Phillips as your coordinator. She does an excellent job.
