HELP! Flower Quote

I recently went to the Milleridge Florist (we are getting married at the cottage in Oct) and got a quote of 1,995.00. That included my bouquet, 8 bridesmaids, 2 jrs 2 flower girls, 8 groomsmen, 2 moms, 2 dads, 2 grandmother the stairs decorated at the hall, and upgrade on the centerpieces from 6-12 doozen roses, rose petals, and candle sticks for the tables. It did not include the church or the fresh flowers on the cake. The Rose petals on the table where $5 per table is that about right? I haven't gone anyplace else yet. The majority of the flowers are roses. Are roses more expensive? Any help or suggestions would be great!! I dint think the price was that bad what do you guys think?

thats a good quote. i was told by a florist that roses are not the most expensive. they are cheaper than callalillies [spellin??} and hydrangea's [they look like snowballs] The $5 per table for petals seems a bit high. I was told by a florist a bag of rose petals cost about $50 and I forget how many roses it contains but it was a lot.

That sounds like a great price to me! Roses are more expensive than lets say mixed flowers. You should get a few quotes though, just to compare.

My aunt does wedding flowers & ONLY wedding flowers.

That's a great quote, and you will not be disappointed. I went with the Milleridge Florist and I thought they did a FANTASTIC job. I recommend them 1000%. I looked at them and only them and have no regrets. If you do a search you can see my pics and at least see my bo-k and the BM's bo-ks..

I think I paid about $2800 but I didn't get married there and therefore didn't have the 'base' of the 1/2 dozen roses in the bubble vase. I also added lilies, heather & ivy.

I say go with it and move on to your next decision :) you are in safe hands with Chris & Cheryl.

I am not sure yet on the exact number but I think we will have between 20 & 22 tables. Flowers have been the only thing that have been stressing me! Thanks!

FLowers by Rosemary does great work. SHe came highly recommend to me, but unfortunatly she did not have the candelabra centerpieces, and I had fallen in love with them, so I went somewhere else. My neighbor used her, and the flowers were beautiful!!!!

I'm using Milleridge Florist and I am so comfortable with this decision. Not only are their prices reasonable, they know flowers!!! I think you have a great deal!
