TY Cards To Your Vendors?

Did you ladies send them, or will be sending them to all your vendors? Just curious TIA

Nope...I don't find the need to. I paid them to do their job lol

Of course, if you had one who went above and beyond and you want to thank them, go for it!

Yes i plan on sending them to all my vendors! I am so happy with every single one of them!!

I think so and some will get an extra special thank you for being so great!

For instance I was very happy with my make up and I want to send M-i-a a thank you and a nice photo that shows my make up that she can use if she wants to show clients (she had a book and i saw a lot of LIW brides in it!)....

I really wanted to bc they were wonderful BUT I was left with 10 thank yous and wanted to make absolutely sure that all of my guests and people who sent gifts were covered.

Almost a year later and I still have those thank yous LOL so I guess I should have done it but oh well too late now.

I recommend them to everyone and a few of them know that bc I make sure my friends told them. I hope that is enough LOL

I actually just saw my photographer at a wedding on Friday and almost made out with him I heart him!

I sent to my DJ and RH. They really went above and beyond for us. So much that I will forever be grateful.

I didnt send to vendors such as my florist - they put different flowers in my BM's bouquets Not even the color it was supposed to be

ok, my feelings on this is:

limos - only met with them twice and spoke on the phone once... and those 2 meetings were about 6 months before the wedding... i felt like if i sent them a TY they would have been like umm who the helll is this lol

flowers - met with them all of ONE time lol same thought aplies here

photographer - IDK there was something silly to me about giving them a TY pic that they had just created for me lol i dont know

DJ - our DJ actually grew up with DH.... so DH knew him very well.... we gave him a H U G E tip so DH didnt feel the need to send him a TY

the only people we sent a TY to was our BM and everyone at the brentwood country club... our BM is the only person i met with about 3945782057345 times and spoke with him just as many.... they were all SO SO SO nice there and i cant even thank them enough for what they did so thats why lol

Yea me too I feel funny to send my TY to our photographer since he made them...plus we are still not done with him.

I guess I'll send them out to the ones who went above and beyond for us...I loved my DJ he was awesome!

our DJ cuz he was effen awesome and
our dance instructors cuz they made us look good!!!!
everyone else the payments were their thank you

I wrote out a thank you card and gave everyone the day of the wedding along with their tips or whatever I had left to pay them.

I sent one to almost all of my vendors.

I did not send 1 to the limo co. or where I got my dress from.

lol I was actually going to ask this the other day...I'm sending them to most of them..the ones that went above and beyond what I expected...my rh already got one!

OMG Tilde-it's almost your anniversary. It's amazing how fast 2008 went! Congrats!

I really liked Patchogue Manor but there were a few minor things that happened the day of that makes me not want to send a ty. I mean I thanked everyone there and tipped everyone so I think I'm covered.

The one vendor that really stands out is my florist-they are not a typical wedding florist and we only got bouquets but they were the most beautiful flowers. The girl I had been working with really 'got' my vision and it showed. They matched the girls' bouquet ribbon perfectly to the dress with just an internet picture. Just little details like that made me feel like my business was important to them. I will be sending a thank you to them and I think that's it.

Yes, but only a few....our DJ/MC especially (he was great and I feel bad that we undertipped him ); makeup artist- I loved her makeup - my calligrapher, and later, to photog and our videographer (feel funny sending a TY to them before we are done lol). I'm not sending one to all my vendors be they don't all 'deserve' one I'm being snarky now.....
