Hair/Makeup Trials

I'm at the 1 year mark and I'm wondering when most people started going for their hair/makeup trials

thanks

Re: Hair/Makeup Trials

I went to mine about 4 months before the date.. so about 2 months ago and I felt that it was best to do so because I feel like if I had went any earlier, I would have changed my mind a lot afterward as far as what I liked and other hairstyles, etc.

Re: Hair/Makeup Trials

It depends... if you know who your going to use and they have your date down, then you can go closer to your wedding-- maybe 2-4 months before.

However, if you have a popular date-- and 1/2 may be (not sure), and you want to get a popular hair/makeup person-- they book up fast!!! So if you want to go with a popular person on this site than start early rather than later!

Re: Hair/Makeup Trials

I'm at 11 months now, but I went on my first makeup trial at 13 months. I went on another one 2 weeks ago and booked, so a little under a year to the day.

Hair I haven't gone on yet, but will probably within the next 2-4 months.

Re: Hair/Makeup Trials

I think as long as you have your dress, you're fine for a trial. I am currently 4.5 months away and just decided on who I am using. Try the Pedala sisters, I think they're the best and I tried a bunch of popular vendors.

Re: Hair/Makeup Trials

Do you bring your veil to the hair trial? I don't have mine yet but want to lock someone in for my hair.
