Spinoff to sick days post…What do you do?

With the economy and job market the way it is I figured we should do this post again so we could help each other out.
What do we all do for a living and where do we work (Long Island, Queens, Manhattan etc)

I’ll start.

I am Social Worker working on Long Island (Melville) for a Managed Medicaid Company. I work with both SWer’s and RN’s to manage the care of disabled adults on Medicaid.

I am a College Admissions Counselor...its ok but I feel like I need to move on!

I work in levittown school district. Iam a records manager and also do other various duties.

I also work at a college as an advisor and adjunct professor (same one as Jackie )
But as of the fall I am going back to teaching elementary

I am a senior court office assistant working for the courts in Mineola. =D I love my job!

i was going to post this a while back b/c i always wonder what everyone does

i'm a social worker out east (manorville) i do group and individual therapy for th MR/DD population. i'm in the office everyday till 230 then i travel to different group homes seeing all my clients so thats why i'm *** after 230 lol

I work as a coffee b!tch for an insurance company. I'm an assistant and do all the dirty work. Does my bitterness come off in my post?

Lawyer-I represent children for Legal Aid in Suffolk. Not for long as I am relocating to Boca Raton, FL. Then I get to start the whole bar admission process again

OMG thats horrible!! my best friend as well as DH's best friend are lawyers & i remember what it was like for them going through the bar exam saga... i would NEVER wish that on ANYONE!!!

Im prego and sick all the time, so I left my waitress job 3 months ago. Im currently looking for a job to take up some of my time while finishing up college.

I am a chiropractor, as well as DH...

he has a private practice in Bellport and I work for SynergyMulticare at 2 of their offices, in Westbury and Farmingdale

I'm a self employed Graphic Artist out east on LI...but will be working in law enforcement starting this summer.

My DH is looking for a VP level Marketing job if anyone knows of anything!

I am the Admin Asst to the Service Manager of a commercial fire alarm company located in Centereach (literally 1.5 miles from my house). I love what I do and as long as they keep giving me a raise, I don't forsee going anywhere
