When do u recommend stopping the pill before ttc?

I personally have never been on the pill.

But, my cousin stopped the pill 1 year before she got married and started Prenatal vitamins shortly after.

She conceived 2 months after her wedding.

I was told at least 6 months, 1 year is good for your system to get back to 'normal' balance. BUT I have heard of ppl getting pregnant right after they stopped so I guess there's no strict time frame.

I just asked my OOBGYN she said it can be anywhere from as soon as you stop the pill, to 6 months to get back to normal. She said there is no way of tellng- some people rreadjust right away while others take 6 months. Hope this helps =)
