Sandals Grande Antigua

Has anyone stayed at the Sandals in Antigua? I think we have decided, but just wanted some feedback, there is a great sale ending soon and we would like to book.

This is where DH and I honeymooned... we absolutely loved it!!! We stayed in the newer section (Mediterranean Village) and couldn't believe how amazing our room was. We were literally walking around it for 10 mins going 'oh my God'. The bed was soooo comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and gorgeous. As far as food, there are 9 different restaurants so you can't go wrong there. Only thing is, for dinner at some of them you need to have a reservation and a few of them do book up 1-2 days in advance. The spa is great... we had a fantastic couples massage, and got manicures/pedicures the day before we left. We are lay-on-the-beach-all-day type people so I can't really comment on many of the activities, excursions, etc. They do have jet skiing, a party boat, a banana boat , parasailing and snorkeling all right on the beach. The pool is huge with a swim-up bar which was really nice. We loved it so much that my cousin and her FH are now going there on their HM too! HTH!!
