October Honeymoon Help

Hi Ladies! FH and I are getting married in October and with it being the season for tropical storms we're not sure where to go on our honeymoon. Any other October brides having the same issue? Where are you going? Past October brides, where did you go? Please post any info you have. TIA!!!!!

We're November (just past hurrican season, but this year there were late storms) - we're going to Hawaii.

We were thinking of Hawaii, but I just don't want to do that flight... ugh! I don't mind flying but FH would never be able to sit on a plane that long, lol

Im getting married in October....I am very nervous about the whole hurrican season honeymoon situation!! BUT Ive heard that Aruba is the best place to go during October. They dont get hurricane season.

Wanted to do Bora Bora but way too expensive =(

I heard all great things about Aruba and their weather! I recommend it =)

My FH and I are headed to Mexico. We went with Travel Tom w/ American Express travel because we have the choice at any time to take the money we spent and apply it to a different location or we could get the cash back. We did this because it is still hurricane season. If we went with Expedia, the travel insurance would only give us vouchers back to use at a later time. With anywhere you go, def. get trip insurance.

We did Hawaii, the weather was beautiful the whole trip. If you dont want to fly that long maybe you should consider a layover, maybe stop in San Francisco or Vegas to break up the trip. We had a connecting flight in LA going there and on the way home we stopped in Vegas for 4 days.

def do aruba.... it was only a 4.5 hour flight and it was absolutely gorgeous there, and out of the hurricane belt so you should be fine!
