Re: tahiti honeymoon
we used a tahiti specialist, she was great!lisa jones at santa barbara travel american express. email: [email protected]
We went to Moorea & Bora Bora. Our trip was alittle longer than we could afford but we splurged. Tahiti is really expensive! But it was worth it to us! bora bora is so beautiful and the water is warm and so aqua! It seemed from all the quotes we got that it was around 8-10 days for most affordable. We priced out garden bungalows in moorea and overwater in bora bora. We ended up getting a free upgrade via our TA in moorea to overwater. There are alot of options when it comes to cost. I think it just depends on how fancy you want the resort to be.
It was helpful to do alot of quotes, I think I drove our TA crazy haha! But she was patient and gave us all the possible combinations and was there to answer all our questions. good luck and congratulations!
cheers!

Re: tahiti honeymoon
I booked Moorea and Bora Bora for 12 nights or 12 days... whichever.. I have an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora and a private pool garden bungalow in Moorea. It's 8,600 for the 2 of us to go! We probably will end up adding on 2 more nights. Who wants to travel that far and not stay for a good amount of time? Not I!I did my research!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go! I'm wayyy too excited about this part!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard that the temp was pretty steady all year round. Even though there is a summer season and wet/dry season.. the weather overall is still somewhat steady... around 80 during the day and mid 70's at night.

Re: tahiti honeymoon
I've read several of your posts re: Bora Bora and Tahiti - they've been very informative!I was wondering if the $8600 includes your airfare? Also, I'd love to get your travel agent's name, if you wouldn't mind sending it to me! I'm brand new to the site, so I haven't figured it all out yet to write you directly.
We would be so thrilled if we could find a way to do a Tahitian honeymoon in early June 2009!
Any and all advice is appreciated - thanks!

Did I ever respond to this? I don't know.. but yes.. it includes airfare from California to Bora Bora. I wanted it this way beacuse it cuts costs for me.. I am hoping to get free tickets to fly to cali through points on a card. So far my round trip to cali is free and i am working on ranking up the points for fh! ha ha. My travel agent is Chloe Cipplione. I think I might have FM you her info already? I don't remember.. if I didn't FM me to let me know and I will send it.
