Please Help

I have just started the planning process and have no idea where to start! I feel very overwhelmed. I just book my wedding at the Chateau Briand but aside from that I dont know where else to start. Music is one of most important aspects for me. Can anyone recommend a great dj and MC...I need someone who will play a great mix of latin music, but also hip-hop, reggae, etc

I don't have any DJ recommendations but I would recommend getting your photographer booked as soon as possible as well. For me, those were the 2 biggest things (Hall and then photog) and photogs can book FAST.

I actually missed the tea party, but we did meet with jessica at the PWP and had a one-on-one session. She gave me a folder full of info. But I wanted to hear from brides who have had some experience with vendors

I would say to start looking at photographers and dj next. The goodphotographers book really fast and your getting married in a popular month.

I a using Tommy Tunes also they are very good.

Also I will recommend my Photg/video George from Right Angle his work is amazing and he is so down to earth and sweet me and FH fell in love the second we met him!

First of all, just relax. I am getting married just 3 days after you and I basically just started planning, too. And I can tell you that I freaked out about 3 weeks ago b/c we had nothing done. But....

You'll see that after you have your place/date picked, everything just starts to fall into place. Concentrate on one thing at a time. Here's what I would do for your next few items:

1. Venue - check!
2. Music
3. Photography/videography
4. Dress

Just start calling places and making appts. And, remember to ENJOY this. It's the only time in your life you get to plan your wedding!

I got engaged 2 weeks ago and I have my hall, band, clergy, and photographer booked...i would def recommend band, clergy and photographer...im also getting married nov 09 so i have a year so wanted to get moving!!!
