The good and the bad

The good: We officially found out today that we got the apartment we wanted!!! This has been stressing me out for weeks since the house we were supposed to rent fell through. So I move in with FH in 10 days!!

The bad: We went to PC Richards today to buy a new TV. FH won $800 last week in Foxwoods, so I said we should spend no more than $1500 on it. Which he did... except then threw a bunch of other things in too (like the thing to mount it on the wall, the warranty, special cables, etc.) and it came to $2500!!!!

Can I kill him??

Boys and their toys! FH and I have an understanding that we're not spending any unnecessary money right now because we're house shopping and planning a wedding - so what does he say 'we need a new flat screen' Why? 'because we should have another, bigger one for when we find a house!'

Haha well that was his original plan... but since PC Richards price-matches for 30 days he figured it didn't matter. I don't know if they include Black Friday prices though.

I mean he did get a good deal on the TV... just all that other cr@p that I'm not happy about!

fh wants a new tv, he rarely even watches it. I swear he only wants it for Guitar Hero. But I told him we have to wait. We need a stove more.

Last Christmas I got FH a new TV.... I told them that I wanted to spend 2k total.... Which they said was fine but then I saw the 62in Sharp Aquos (or something like that LOL) and I asked him if he could do it for 2k... I think it was something like 3500.... LOL and he said he could do it for 2100!!!!
HAHHAAHAAAAAAAA! I soooo took it! I cant believe how much I got off of that TV! With all the cables and crap it cost me 3k but still... I saved money. And when FH saw his TV his face was priceless.

That is awesome!! That's actually why we HAD to go back to the store yesterday. He was there the day before and got the salesguy to knock like $300 off the sale price, which was already $800 off the regular price. So we went back even though FH had stayed home from work all day with a stomach virus!!

It's always like that with big TVs...just let him enjoy it. Trust me on that one.
