Re: Long Island.....

Port Jefferson is a bit far. From where I live in Queens its a little over an hour drive. And i am about 15-20 mins from manhattan. I would say to give yourself a little over an hour. Also what time of day are you going? Traffic can be bad so maybe 1.5 hours

yeah if it takes me over an hour then figure it will take you an extra 20 mins longer than it would take me. Alot of areas in LI are very close to me, it takes me 15 mins to some parts or 30-45 mins the most. But Port jefferson is pretty far even for me and would take over an hour.

Do you need to go or you just wanted to go for some type of activitiy or something

i know what you mean. The furthest vendor i had was in commack and its not THAT bad from me it was about 45 mins with some traffic. But luckily I only had to go once. I also drive alot and do long distances like that kinda often so a bit more used to it. If you normally don't i know alot of people hate to.

Re: Long Island.....

Between 1.5 and 2 hours.... It really depends on the traffic on 347 going towards Port Jeff. Its usually pretty heavy on the weekends.

Re: Long Island.....

Hahaha yeah I would bet on it taking 1hr and 20 mins or so. My parents live in Shoreham which is about 15 mins east of Port Jeff. So I would def say somewhere around an hour and 20 mins. Sorry hun. The Island is insanely long lol!
