abstaining

i remember reading so many posts about abstaining before the wedding - and i thought yea, right, i will NOT be doing that ummmm, with 16 days to go i can't remember the last time we did it! - it had to be some time last week hahahaha but we have not had any time to do anything together - we have been driving out to Long Island almost every night after work for meetings with vendors - its insane and the drive is exhausting when you are doing it after work so often...i can't wait until things get back to normal...we went out for a nice dinner on saturday night (after running around all day doing wedding stuff) and by the time we got home we were so pooped we passed out....no action going on over here...am i the only one that this happened to? i hope not!

that is what i keep thinking!!! i already have like a gazillion 'outfits' packed

its funny, we are so tired that the last few nights we just cuddled really close until we fell asleep and the past few morning instead of getting up for the gym we are just to tired - we just cuddle again until we have to get up for work - but at least we are cuddling, so it could be worse....

I know exactly where you are coming from. I think that it is normal. At least it was for us. The outfits will surely make the honeymoon fun!

Re: abstaining

We are in the same boat... HOWEVER, for us its been longer. I had my period last week, the week before we barely had any time, the week before that I had a UTI.. I cannot remember the last time, I seriously think it was close to 2 months!!! So with 9 days to go... we are waiting to that night. At this point, whats an extra 9 days

Re: abstaining

We were also too busy! It was non-stop the few weeks before the wedding and I was at my moms alot trying to get all the last minute things done. Then the week before the wedding when things slowed down a little we decided to just wait until the wedding night

Re: abstaining

these last few weeks are going to be so crazy! dont worry about not finding time to be intimate. you have your whole HM to make up for it thats the best part!

i surprised DH on the HM with a few outfits from victorias secret and some heels to make up for lost time.

Re: abstaining

i think it's awesome! lol. It's gonna make the wedding night soooo much more special. Just think about MY situation for a minute - me & FH have been separated by almost 2,000 miles since the beginning of September. So not even a kiss, a hug, a little cuddling & hand holding. NOTHING for 3 months before the Wedding. You know that Wedding Night is gonna be intense (i can't wait)

Re: abstaining

The last 2 weeks, I barely had time to eat so yeah definitely didn't have time for that. ANd yeah i didnt do anything intentionally its just what happens. Being out from morning to late night and running around does take a toll on you and when you get home you just pass out. Theres alot going on now so its only normal.

its funny, because sometimes time goes by and you don't get it on that often and its like a mini dry spell - but this is different - b/c we are both are in the mood and we both want it, its just that we are so tired and there is literally no time....i know we could make time - but right now i think we both rather sleep! its funny though, b/c saturday we took a night out for ourselves - went to a portugese restaurant that we really like, we had a few drinks - we had a real great date night - and usually after a night like that you know, we get home and we get busy but not this time - we were just so exhausted.... its rare for FH to be that tired, but even he is exhausted b/c he started his other job doing christmas lights - so he's out in the cold after work, climbing roofs, making me nervous hahahaha....so when he gets home he wants food, a shower and sleep but there are still things that i need his help with - and meetings he has to go with me - and god bless him because he makes time to do everything with me....but its getting very crazy! i actually dreamt that we did it yesterday morning thinking it was real - and i was like ummmm did we do it this morning - and he was like no, just cuddled, and i was like ohhh ok, i guess i dreamt it

its normal though and definitely understandable. I barely even had time to see him the last 2 weeks. We did have dinner the week before with his family for his mom's birthday but that was the only time we got to sit and have dinner and not do something wedding related. But the HM is right around the corner and you two will have so much alone time so it will be great. Makes the HM that more enjoyable bc by that time you REALLY need it hahaha. We slept in late too on the HM, it was nice hahaha

Re: abstaining

So funny, the same thing happened to us. And we were all talk like 'wait for the HM, wait for the HM' well - the first night of our honeymoon we fell asleep at 8PM and didnt wake up until late the next morning!

we made up for it later on but it was so funny
