Unity Candle

What happens to the unity candle after the ceremony? I never see it displayed in anyone's house, that's why I'm doing the sand ceremony instead. I bought the heart shaped vase and had it engraved this way it can be displayed in our house forever.

Re: Unity Candle

My parents' candle is displayed in their bedroom and my cousin has hers displayed in her living room. We'll probably find a nice place for it as well.

What I am confused about is WHY my cousins display their marriage certificates in frames in their bedrooms? Those are legal documents... aren't they supposed to be in a safe place?

Re: Unity Candle

Good ideas, I was just wondering because I've never seen it in any house I've ever been to, family or friends, but I like the idea of burning it on every anniversary.
