Jim Hjelm BM dress question - HELP!!!

My MOH has ordered a Jim Hjelm Occasions Satin Faces Taffeta dress style #JH2035, using the swatches they had we ordered the Mist color......however, I'm sure you all know how tough it is to really get an idea of the color using a 1 inch swatch. It looked kinda purple/lavender/lilac...so the flower girl dress is white with purple rosettes.

Anyone out there order this dress in that color or have seen this dress in that color. The Jim Hjelm collection doesn't have any dresses online or in catalogs that are the MIST color.....please help!! If anyone has a picture of this dress in the Mist color it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ladies!

Also, you can obtain a larger swatch directly from Jim Hjelm. They sent me a pretty big piece. You can have the bridal store order it for you!

That's a tough call
My BM's ordered a JH dress in a color we have never seen on a dress before and I went through some anxiety about whether the dress will look good when it gets here. We had to use the swatches since the dress sample only came in one color which we did not like. I would scan all JH dresses on his site for a similar color in another style to see if you like it. Or I would even go to a salon and ask them for their opinion. I went to Here Comes the Bridesmaid on 14th Street in NYC just to look around and they helped me decide on the color. They advised me on which colors would look best for our skin color and how it would look in pictures etc. I ended up ordering all the BM dresses from the bridalmarketplace.com since we saved a lot of money doing it that way.

Thanks for the info. I have looked at the swatch online, and of course it looks different than the swatch at the store.

I'll have to try and get the swatch through the bridal store!
