NWR-Just have to Vent

So FH was fired last week from a job where he was an outstanding technician. And the sad thing is he is starting to process for the NYPD and his job recieved the reference paperwork about 3 weeks ago and that is when the B-Sh*t started.
The day after the job got his paperwork they made him work in Brooklyn everyday (instead of Long Island). They wrote him up for leaving early after they had given him permission to. And then when they eventually fired him they said it was because of things that He had always been told do do. So basically his job got mad that he wanted to be on the NYPD and then the found reasons to let him go. But since they didnt specifically fire him because of the NYPD it *****. It is just very ironic...dont ya think.
And now FH is jobless...we own a house and have a mortgage...and we are paying for a wedding. But since the NYPD academy would start in Jan (if he even gets on...which is not a definate) it is impossible for him to start a new job for 2 months.
I just needed to vent and maybe hear some words of wisdom. Thank you girls

I'm so sorry to hear!

There are TONS of temp jobs for the holidays this time of year. I know its probably not what he would want to do, but some job is better then no job! And it would only be till Jan. so that'd be perfect for him!

I would recommend going to a temp agency also and just find something to bring in an income until he gets accepted into the NYPD.... stay positive everything will work out

That is horrible, yeah try a temp agency or ups, they are always hiring and flexible. They should have not been allowed to do that. That really stinks, good luck!
