Vendor Rave- Limos

So tonight at work I was speaking with the Limo company that operates out of our store. The owner, Eddie, was telling me a story about a bride he worked with this past weekend.

The Bride came in on thursday and was getting married Friday. (yes, one day later.) She stayed all day and found a sample dress that she got from the store. She met with Eddie of Serenity Limos and told him her story. She told him that her parents died in a car crash recently, her Fiance was a shoulder who was on leave from Iraq for a week or something. He felt so badly for her. He gave her two limos for free! He contacted LIW, newsday and all to tell her story,he also called east wind and arranged for them to have their dinners free!

Needless to say, the story was a lie. He found out at the church when he spoke with the bride's neighbor who said the parents died years ago from cancer and her fiance was not home from Iraq, he just started bootcamp.

Eddie is just such a nice guy and a great businessman. He donated these cars for free for this bride without even thinking twice. I felt so bad when he told us about all of this. Can you imagine doing something like this? Makes me sick to think that there are actually people out there who really do have situations like this but selfish, deceitful people lie and make it difficult for them to get help! Geez!

Oh my God! What a disgusting person she is to lie about her parents death like that. That is truly sickening!

That limo guy should charge her for the limos!

He really is......he was supposed to meet me at the RV place to check out a few cars. He forgot to meet with us so when I called he had me come right down to the bridal store and gave me a great price for forgetting our appointment!

People are sick. I hate liars more than anything, and to lie about things like your parents death and more is just disgusting. Eddie sounds like such a great guy, what a shame he got mixed up with this psycho.

That is just unbelievable but Eddie sounds like a great guy. Our limos are already booked but I will recommend our company and Serenity to our other friends. Just cannot believe that the bride went through with this and thought that she'd not get caught.
