Massapequa Area Brides (Rehearsal Dinner Restaurants?)

Does anyone have a suggestion for a restaurant in the massapequa area? We are having our rehearsal on the friday before the wedding, and the church is in seaford/massapequa area. Want something close to the area in case of bad weather (Jan). Any suggestions would be great! FMIL keeps asking about restaurants, and I want to give her options so she can make the reservation.

you can try the Bulldog cafe in Amityville (right on Montauk Hwy) its owned by Lessings.

Food is good and they have a few rooms for private parties.

D*ick & Dora's in Massapequa. It's GREAT Italian food and they'll give you a private room if you have enough people.

Re: Massapequa Area Brides (Rehearsal Dinner Restaurants?)

We just went and looked at places this weekend! It's proven difficult to find a place that is willing to give us space on a Friday night for 50 people. We really liked the private room upstairs at Bulldog, and the prices, including imported beer, wine, and soda, is still cheaper than other options!

You can see prices for most of the Lessings places on their web site:

We really wanted to do the Post Office in Babylon, but they cannot accommodate us on a Friday. They can do smaller groups, though!
