Hey all!

So every girl dreams of their wedding day and even down to the last detail...

My question is.. how old did you 'plan' on being when getting married and having kids... are you on 'track' and are you happy with the way things turned out?

When i was younger, i always thought i would be married by the time i was 25 and have my first kid around 26/27...Im a little behind schedule.. lol.. i will be married when im 27.. and hopefully pop one out before im 30

right on track i thought be engaged around 25 and married shortly after that and i will be 27 next 10/3/09

I am late on my 'plan'!! I wanted to be married by the time I was 30 and kids by the time I was 32. I am going to be 34 in December and getting married the following October. God only knows when I will be having children. I would like a HM baby but FH says no he wants to wait a couple of months. I say what is the difference

A little behind schedule but not horribly... I planned on getting married at 26/27 and instead I'll be a month away from 30!

I always thought I would get married at 26 and I will be 26 when i get married. But I thought I would get pregnant right away after getting married and now I would like to wait at least a year before we start trying.

When I was younger (and I say before the age of 14) I always thought I'd get married at 24-25. LOL
Seriously I could never picture that! When I was that age I was like NO WAY, and I was in a 4 year relationship at that age. Luckily I was smart enough to realize that he wasn't it, and I embarked on a few more years of single in NYC.

I met my FH at 28, we were engaged at 29 and by the time I get married I'll be 30

For me everything worked out perfectly, I'm glad I waited for the right guy, and was able to excel at my career over the years and be at a great place by the time we met.

I didnt really know when I would get married or when I would have kids but I always dreamed about the type of man I would marry and I am right on track with that

I'm just about right on track...I always said that I wanted to be married and have children by 25...I'm getting marred at 25 so I think I'm close enough. LOL

I wanted to be married by 27 at the latest so I could have at least 2 years before I get pregnant and have a baby by 30. But I will be 29 when I get married so either I have to push off children or have one right away and not have time together just us.

i always wanted to be younger getting married and having kids. i am DEF on track. FH is a little older so we are 100% on the same page with the path we are on!!

I wanted to be married at 25 and have kids at 27-28... Now I will be married at 26 and I guess kids around 29ish... So yeah I am kind of on track

I never even had a plan.....just knew that I would get married when I met the right person. Kids....never wanted them......til the last few years and we are going to started trying not long after the wedding before its too late.

I think when I was little I thought I'd be married at 24. I'm getting married at 26, which isn't too far off and honestly, it's a perfect time in my life.

I feel like everything is pretty much timed perfectly for me. I always wanted to get married between 26-28 and have my first baby before I am 30. I could never see myself getting married earlier than this, especially now that I look back at how I was 3-4 years ago. I have definatly changed and feel more secure in my decisions now. Nor would I have liked to wait till after 30 either...so I am happy

As a young girl, I thought I would be 22-23 when I got married. The kid part I did not think about as much. I was still in grad school at that age!!!

In 2009 I will (a) turn 30 and (b) get married. I have no regrets. I spent my 20s getting my law degree and starting my career. That probably would not have happened for me if I got married at 22. Its also a lot easier to pay for the wedding at 30. My taste in men also got much better. Less superficial. The men I dated in my early 20s cannot compare to FH - he is a better person by far.

my parents are both young, 49 and 52 so i always thought everyone was supp to get married at like 21 lol. im 26 and fh is 29 but when we get married we will be 27 and 30 so maybe im a little behind according to my 'plan' at like 10 lol.
