deciphering BM dress colors (Poll)

OK Girls I need your help!

Once FH and I decided on an early October wedding I immediately thought 'dark purple/eggplant BM dresses since pink didn't seem like an option.

Then I was on the Jim Hjelm website today and I noticed a color called 'Rasberry' and started questioning..

My BM's are each going to have a different dress, in the same color, length and fabric.
I know for a fact I want their gowns chiffon and floor length.

Eggplant goes more with the time of year, but the Rasberry is more me..

What to do??

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Raspberry! I think its different for that time of year, but still really appropriate which I love! You can have fun with flowers and color! I think the Eggplant is def beautiful as well, but the rasp POPs!! go for it!

Mine are dark purple so I'm biased however I think it depends on the type of material. For the ones you posted I'm going with the raspberry.

Raspberry is my color too.... haven't picked dresses yet but I have my heart set on that color! Watters have some really nice dresses that are possibilities for me in that color family (not called raspberry but similar!)

i was just looking at that raspberry dress on the jim hjelm website and i was deciding if it was rich enough of a pink. if it were me i would go see both colors in person and then make a decision.

Thanks Ladies!!
My MOH and I are gonna go next month for some try-ons and color analysis. Everyone's open to either shade, which is a good thing. The raspberry on the Jim Hjelm site looks totally different in each pic which is confusing.
