Invitation RSVP

Hi Ladies,

Wanted some opinions. Our wedding date is June 28, 2009, and I was wondering what should I make the RSVP date and when should I send them?? Thanks so much!

Re: Invitation RSVP

Usually the RSVP date is about a month or a little earlier than your wedding date (a little earlier is better because it gives you time to chase down the non-responders and make your seating chart, etc!) and the invites are usually sent out about two months in advance (3 mos for OOT guests or send them the info if your invites aren't ready). I would send them out April 28 and put a RSVP date of May 20.
I sent out my invites about 2 months in advance but I put a RSVP date of June 20 (my wedding was July 20) which turned out to be stressful...so now I advise other brides to put earlier RSVP dates

Re: Invitation RSVP

I would make the RSVP date something like May 22. I would send the invitations out in early to mid April so people have about a month to RSVP.
