New York Public Library

Has anyone taken epics there, if so can you tell me if you needed a permit and how much it cost..? Thank you!!!!

I would go and see if you see people taking pics. If you don't see anyone taking pics...then I would call to see what their procedures are.

For example...at Gantry in LIC, they don't bother you if you're taking e-pics because you're in your regular clothes, but if they see you in your wedding dress they'll hassle you for a permit because technically you're supposed to have a permit to take pics there.

Are you talking about the one on 5th Ave and 42nd? If so, I have never seen anyone taking pictures there and I used to work in the area. I would give them a call and find out.

i know they do take pics there, you do need a permit though. An 08 bride called last year to take epics there and an 09 bride just took her epics there. I cant remember if there is a fee but i think there is. They take the pics inside the library since its so beautiful. Its actually also a popular spot for weddings and other big events

Is it the one by Bryant park? If not I may be confusing it. I never actually went inside bc they were doing renovations for ever.
