My date coincides with Caribana which is a West Indian Parade that takes place in Canada every year. It's a weekend full of parties and concerts. All the guys are upset because they will be missing it for the wedding. They actually wanted us to change the date so they could go!

I tease FH that he won't be able to go every year after our wedding because it will be around our anniversary

FH is a huge fan of Stern, and I adore Beth..

Hmm there isn't too many exciting things that happened on my day...

but FH's bday is 7/16 and we started dating on 8/16.
My bday is 8/24 and our wedding day will be 7/24.

July and August are busy months.

I looked my date up on Wikiepedia and a ton of historical stuff happened on my day...

As far as FUN stuff, this was all I could find!

1928- Mickey Mouse premiered in his first cartoon, Plane Crazy

1940 - McDonald's opens its first restaurant in San Bernardino, California.

1941 - Baseball player Joe DiMaggio of the New York Yankees starts his record-breaking 56-game hitting streak.
