Re: tanning?
I may try to lay out as close to my wedding as possible...being that I am at the end of Oct I could get some days where it is warm enough to lay out in the back yard.

I will got to the tanning salon, the month before. I have a destination wedding, so I do not have time or the right people there to get the fake tan done. I never go tanning and I am super careful usually but when it comes to looking good on my wedding day, i will not compromise...also I want it to look real. I figured how bad can it be...I know its awful...
While agree that looking your best on your day is important i would never risk myhealth. And lets face it while we knowprobably mostly everything is bad & will do harm in some way later on right now we only have the facts about tanning & tanning beds. Even though you are carfeul all the othertimes this time could be the one that harms you. Its nt worth it. Spray tan by a salon is safer & healthier & you will NOT look fake or orange. those are the bottled kind you buy in the pharmacy & do urself!
I only urge you because i recently lost an uncle to braincancer which stemmed from a melonoma on his back! ITS NOT WORTH IT!
I know what you mean, but still, it is the only way I can do it. I lead a very healthy lifestyle and I actually use the lotion by dove all year around as a tanning alternative and I love it...it is not fake looking, but it does not give me a dark enough tan. I just would not want to risk any blotchiness on my wedding day and I know this is what would happen to me on my wedding day....just my luck

yeah my problem was that i get allergic reactions to MOST things lol. Even when i used Jergens lotions it effects me. I would like to try spray tanning one time but have to do it when its not for an event or anything in case i do get a bad reaction to it.

Since im in February im definitely goign to need some color but i dont do tanning beds. im definitely doing a spraytan. its safer & healthier Im doing it about 3 days before my wedding & i just want apretty glow not a dark tan.
ITA! Spray tan!!!!
does it make you look orange? I have seen a few people do spray tan and they look orange...id rather be pale than look fake ya know?
I get them like once a week... i prefer he california tan machines and dislike the mystic!
Or you could get the airbrushing by an actual person...
Barbie... you go quite often too??? I knew i liked you girl
I dont spray myself (I'm not sure of it came out that way ) I go to beach bum and get the mystic.. which scares the sh!t out of me each time b/c of the sound of it!
What do you do?? There is something beter then mystic? I need to know!!!
Barbie- I go to Beach Bum presently also. You just need to find BBum's with the "California Tan"...you will never want to mystic again! YOu can look it up on their website and find a salon with that machine. I promise its worth a ride!
Thanks sweets! i'll check it out!!
