Looks absolutely gorgeous!!! I hope your Air Jamaica flight was uneventful

Except for the fact that they charged Joey $75 on the way home for his bag being 12 pounds over the limit. We were furious. I am writing a letter to them. They didn't charge us anything on the way down and he bag had the same things in it on the way home that he did going.

Oh my gosh that happened to us, too! We flew AA going to St. Kitts and DH had the same stuff in his bag going down there as coming back, yet coming back they charged us! I guess NY they are more lenient or something, these islands are ridiculous!

We love it too. The first time we went was in vegas and we had the best frozen drinks. Then when I went with the girls this summer we got the big 100 oz margarita which was awesome... in Jamaica, on the way to the hotel, the bus driver told us there was one walking distance from where we were, so we went twice!!

That is such BS and same happened to us. Going there we were on airbus plane, but 2nd destination we had to take a smaller plane and we werent told ahead of time about this. For the smaller plane they said it was 50 pounds for ALL the suitcases together which is crazy. She said well did you just come from NY, i said well weve been in barcelona the past week but yes we left from NY, she said oh well if you came from NY today it would be different and you wouldnt get charged but since you were in barcelona this past week we have to charge you. Which makes no sense, did she expect us to leave all our luggage in barcelona of course were gonna have the same luggage we left ny with. The worst part is that it was $175 EURO for every suitcase we were over and there were several yeah we flipped out. Plus the same airline lost his luggage on the way home and to this day we never got it back

It was really pretty and earthy. There was tons of "wildlife" running around; lizards, frogs, cats (lol). I love that it wasn't a hotel. they were villas with about 12 rooms per building.

hahaha yeah when she asked us i thought she was insane. I know in ny a few y ears ago i paid $90 for a luggage being JUST a few ounces over which annoyed me. So i was expecting about the same price, when she said 175 euro i didnt know what to do, dh said what can we do. I wanted to cry that we paid several hundred dollars to put our luggage on the plane

We made a bit of a stink, so after we left the counter, I bet Joey $100 that his luggage would never make it back to NY. I thought for sure they were keeping it after the stink we made.

It su*cks that they airlines are doing this. But for future travel keep this in mind -- each airline and each agent is different. Smaller airports are more strict. I flew with two coworkers this past week -- my luggage was 52 lbs and they didn't charge my -- my coworker was 53 and her agent charged her. Same on the way back -- 1 lb difference and another coworker was charged but not me or the girl who originally was over -- all depends on who you get.

Unfortunately it is the state of the travel world right now and it is giving people a reason for a power trip

They did that to us too. Sometimes I think the WAY you pack plays into the weight of the luggage. I dont know if that makes sense.
