NWR- Keratin hair treatment??

I KNOW you ladies can help me on this one!!!

I am considering getting the keratin treatment on my hair, but I am scared that my hair will turn out stick straight! I did the Japanese in the past, and didnt like it because my hair was way too straight. It looked unnatural. I do not want to lose my wave, just the frizz.

For all of you who had it done, or know girls who did, can you ease my fears????

Pics would be awesome too.
Thanks!

Re: NWR- Keratin hair treatment??

I did it back in June. I have very curly hair and even with the treatment I still had about 80% of my curl. It was just much softer. Less frizz and much more manageable in the heat and humidity. I loved it!

Re: NWR- Keratin hair treatment??

MY mother had it done a few months ago and at first it was okay but then her hair just seemed a lot thinner and less...not that she lost any but it just looks flat and less. I would only recommend it if you have a lot of hair and its REALLY curly...otherwise your hair will look much less. HTH!

Re: NWR- Keratin hair treatment??

If you are referring to Brazilian Keratin Treatment - I ma actually getting my 5th one on Wednesday - When you first walk out of the salon it should be stick straight because the treatment is still working - Once you do your first wash and every wash after will give more body and then it comes out -

I also get the japanese - It is not as straight and also not permanent so no matter what it will come out in about 6-8weeks anyway -

Also really depends on the type of hair you are starting with

Hope that helps
