Thank You's driving me insane!

Can someone please suggest an easy way to get Thank You's done? I've been putting it off too long!
My main issue with the Thank You's is the fact they need to be handwritten. I'm used to typing everything out on the computer. When typing things out it is so much easier to delete things that sound stupid, remove words that need to be changed and of course spell check. Handwriting doesn't allow any of this. if you screw up you need to rip it up and start over again.
This may sounds nuts - but I'm thinking of typing everything out first on my computer and then hand-write copying it to the Thank You's. I know it will take 10 times as long - but handwriting leaves so much room for error.

Re: Thank You's driving me insane!

what about typing out a few different versions of wording, and then you can tweak them for the different people and add in a personal sentence or two?

I totally agree and hope to do the same for mine. Can FH help out with anything?? I got a TY card from a wedding last year that was written by the groom. I am not sure if he did all of them or just ones for his family and friends, but I thought it was a nice touch

The only 'help' DH did was stamp a few of them, drop them off in the mailbox, and pick up some more stamps when we ran out. I tried to have him help write a few e-party thank yous but it was just easier to do them myself

Re: Thank You's driving me insane!

I typed everything out first (the ones where I was writing a more personal message... close family & BP) so that way I was just copying it into the card. I found that much easier!
