1st anniversary
I didn't do ANYTHING for my husband for our 1st anniversary. Did anyone else make a HUGE mistake like that? I feel so badly...and he'll never let me live it down. My only excuse was that I'm totally stressed at work and didn't even have the energy or time away from him to get him something.
ugh!

Re: 1st anniversary
I think there's a big difference b/w not doing "something" for the anniversary vs forgetting about it. hopefully it was the former and not the latter.
we're not at our anniversary yet, but i will likely be following the "paper" rule of thumb and getting him a book.

Re: 1st anniversary
I made a special dinner & we spent all day together.. there was no present exchange this year b/c we are trying to spend wisely right now.
Why don't you book a weekend trip as a surprise? Stay friday & saturday night at a B&B.

Re: 1st anniversary
It's never too late. Maybe plan something really special for him to make up for it. i know I would appreciate a nice gesture late rather than never.

Re: 1st anniversary
Our anniversary is Tuesday. I got him a book that he wanted. I am also making a pichnic lunch for us and we are going to go down to the beach where he proposed to me.

Re: 1st anniversary
well of course i didn't forget it...it was all I was thinking about since the summer. I had wanted to go away. DH took care of all the plans and surprised me by taking me to the Poconos. It was really nice.
