Passport Question

I just officialy changed my name.. first maiden last name married last name.. got t he whole signed document from court and applied for ss and went to dmv..

for the passport.. i am not sure if i should wait it out (b/c i am travelling end of dec.) and i have multiple visas on my passport.. should i change it now.. and have dual citizenship.. just worried that it might not happen in time..

if i remember correctly, they say it takes 6 weeks to get a new passport with your new name. If worst comes to worst you can always go to the passport agency and get it the same day if you are worried.

i'm getting mixed responses from people about visa issues.. i'll just bite the dust go there..

I got my new passport about a week after I sent in the application.

I don't know anything about the visas though. Sorry.
